Through most of my life as an athlete in high school and college, I struggled with my body image and had never really been happy with the way I looked. After taking Dr. Megan's course, I realized that there isn't one *perfect* body type as an athlete that there are so many other women and girls that feel the same way I do. I have learned that I need to appreciate my body and the strength it provides me during training and competition. Although I still have a lot to learn about myself, I think this course helped me jumpstart my journey towards self-discovery and made me more comfortable having conversations with loved ones about how I feel as an athlete and person. I highly recommend to anyone that wants to learn how to appreciate your body and putting yourself first to take this course! Dr. Megan is so knowledgeable and provides examples and great tips that can be taken away and applied to so many different aspects of your life!
